Our heart for the Wauconda area.
Awakening people to live
a better story in the ways of Jesus.
Anthology Church started as Fusion Church, and began in the early 2000’s in Lake Zurich, Illinois as a young adult ministry primarily composed of college-aged attendees meeting in homes. Eventually branching off from another local church to form its own independent church, Fusion went from meeting in a movie theater to meeting in schools and other church buildings. What began as a pioneering project of faith filled with young believers eventually evolved into a multi-generational community seeking to faithfully follow Jesus in the suburbs.
In 2011, the founding pastor stepped down and handed the charge over to current lead pastor Chael Tiller. Two years later, Fusion relocated to Wauconda as their worship home base, with a heart to meet the needs of the community in the place where many members of the church lived. The church today is an active part of the Wauconda-area community as they partner in bringing the life, redemption, and hope that Jesus so freely offers.
In early 2026, Fusion Church changed their name to Anthology Church to better align themselves with the direction God was leading them.
From the beginning of its mission until now, this community of believers has maintained its core tenets to make Jesus the center of everything and to help others walk faithfully in a lifelong commitment to him.
